I am proudly deaf. I use ASL primarily for everyday use and conversation. I had been a deaf mentor in a few states for over 10 years. I am involved in teaching community ASL classes in the summer. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in history and a minor in philosophy at Gallaudet University. I enjoy walking on beaches, hunting for special rocks and shells.
